Description:
The Center for Urban Breastfeeding runs the free LAtCH Line lactation counseling service (phone, virtual, and in-home) plus Breastfeeding 101 classes for African American mothers, and its separate birth and postpartum doula programs provide free prenatal sessions, labor support, and postpartum visits.

Description:
Founded in 2007 and described on its site as a national leader working to improve breastfeeding outcomes for Black families, BMBFA runs the Black Mothers’ Breastfeeding Club (free peer support), a breastfeeding peer counselor program, a community-based doula program, and the BLISS pregnancy/breastfeeding education series. It also operates a national Birth & Breastfeeding Leadership Institute.
