BEC collaborates with the Allegheny County Health Department to address health inequities through public health education and mobile vaccination clinics in places where Black people gather.
Funded by the CDC through REACH—Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health—the work brings outreach into everyday settings, including hair salons and barbershops, congregate housing, food banks, and street fairs.
