Community priorities.
Cleaner energy.
BEC serves on the leadership team of the Allegheny Decarbonization Coalition, working to decarbonize and electrify public housing across Allegheny County.
The initiative extends the work of Clean Heat Pittsburgh to other county communities. The Blawnox Apartments pilot focuses on home energy upgrades and clean heat technologies for a community of more than 80 seniors.
Energy affordability, reduced emissions, and healthier living conditions are at the heart of the work.
